Strengthening your entire core will ease stress on your lower back and can actually help you to stand taller. Use these moves selected by Jessica Matthews, the continuing-education coordinator for the American Council on Exercise, to work all your abdominal and back muscles. After the warm-up, do each exercise once; work your way up to two sets. Finish with the cool down.
